Earlier this, month, I had the honor and pleasure of serving on a panel of local Social Media Socialites at the Enoch Pratt Library. Organized by @mikenealis and @grants_pratt, the panel featured some of our local intelligentsia @mickeygomez, @alsnyder02 (who also manages various Pratt Library social media presences), @bad_decisions, @stevekruskamp and myself.
And, on March 25th, I’ll be on another panel to talk social media for non-profits, this one organized by myself and the Center for Community Technology Services. Joining me on this panel will be @alsnyder02 (again), @pinkgrammar from the Baltimore Sun, @robotchampion who started a non-profit.
You can register for this seminar here.
So, in light of both of these panels, I’m declaring March Social Media for Non-Profits Month. It’s kinda silly, I know, but perhaps this is a good time to think about what good deeds you’ll be doing this year, now that the snow has finally subsided and warmer days are ahead.
